This guy was of a certain age and clearly he didn’t react well to being told he was going to have to leave. The security staff are in a right state. It was a gruesome sight.

The bonus paid to the previous Commissioner, Bob Kiley, was up to a maximum of £285,000 in any year. The bonus paid to the current Commissioner, Peter Hendy, is up to a maximum of 50 per cent of base salary. The Chief Officers’ bonus is currently up to a maximum of 30 per cent of base salary.
